Our resins and hydro matting are used to stop back penetration and hydration, this is water or air penetrating from the back side of the pool. The reason other fiberglass or epoxy paint have pinholes in their surface is because they have no matting to stop this reaction. Other coatings dry from the bottom up, such as concrete products, fiberglass and paint. Our coating, one of the only coatings that films and dries from the top down making it a nonporous surface and sealing the entire pool. Most coatings fail due to being porous.
Installing ArmorGuard
ArmorGuard can be easily installed in a pool in just a few short days. First the pool is properly drained and the existing surface is repaired and renovated. We use a heavy duty sealer and primer. Our coating is then applied to recondition and seal the pool surface against the elements. The ArmorGuard System is professionally installed by factory trained and licensed pool contractors and pool renovation companies.
ArmorGuard authorized dealers also offer complete pool services. With our 15 year Warranty, 1 coat of primer applied, a second coat of primer is applied with hydro mat to stop hydration, then the 1st coat of ArmorGuard with mat is applied, and then a final coat of ArmorGuard is applied, totaling 4 coats of material.

Our rebuild system is when we build on an entire pool inside your existing pool, with our epoxy resin matting. We warrant the shell for 35 years and the surface for ___ years giving you a pool at half the cost of a new pool.
